Four students from Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) have been granted Canada-ASEAN Scholarships and Educational Exchange for Development (SEED) - a scholarship program providing TAUians the opportunity to study abroad and conduct research at Canadian academic institutions, namely, Kwantlen Polytechnic University (KPU) and Centennial College (CC) from January 6 to April 30, 2025.

Three students are from the College of Agriculture and Forestry (CAF) namely, Riza C. Baloto, Christian Kayrl F. Pascua, and Jan Patrick T. Sotero, who will study at Kwantlen Polytechnic University in British Columbia, Canada. Meanwhile, Jermaine Clyde Reyes from the College of Business and Management (CBM) will attend Centennial College in Toronto, Canada.

It aims to provide students from Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN) member countries with access to international education while supporting the United Nationsโ€™ 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
