During the meeting, discussions regarding the current activities and partnerships with the Israel Embassy to the Philippines were tackled such as the Agrostudies program and MASHAV training.

Furthering the dialogue around faculty and student mobility programs, research opportunities and collaboration; the potential of sending Filipino students and faculty to Israel for advanced studies and hands-on training was also discussed. Additionally, the importance of collaborative research was emphasized in the meeting pointing to the shared interest of both Israel and the Philippines in expanding joint research efforts in areas such as agricultural technology and sustainable farming practices.

In the end, one of the central points of the conversation was how TAU, in particular, could further advance its agricultural programs through international collaboration. TAU representatives expressed their strong interest in forging strong partnerships with Israeli universities to exchange knowledge and best practices, improve curricula and adopt Israel's globally recognized competence in terms of agriculture.
