Celebrating elegance and campus spirit, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) community crowned its newest ambassadorsβ€”Ted B. Villanueva of the College of Business and Management (CBM) and Twinkle M. Guides of the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS)β€”as Mister and Miss TAU 2025. Held at the Gilberto O. Teodoro Multipurpose Center on 2 May, the grand coronation night brought together 13 dynamic pairs representing the University’s six colleges and laboratory school in a spectacle of talent, wit, and grace.

Rising above the competition, Villanueva and Guides impressed the judges across multiple segments, including a production number, uniform outfit, casual wear, and formal attire. Their eloquence during the question-and-answer round sealed their victory, as they answered questions focusing on youth-related issues. Earlier (25 April), they also joined their fellow contestants in captivating audiences during the talent showdown.

In the male category, Villanueva was followed by Ibrahim A. Yaqub (CAS), first runner-up; Ryan Christian S. Jimenez (CEd), second runner-up; Keneth Mark C. Mallari (CBM), third runner-up; and Euclid Reimann P. Claudio (Laboratory School), fourth runner-up.

Meanwhile, in the female division, Guides was joined on the winners’ circle by Johannarese Mae L. Arceo (CVM), first runner-up; Kissha Mae Y. Dela Cruz (CVM), second runner-up; Bae Czarina Sanchez (CBM), third runner-up; and Shaira Nicole G. Caraan (Laboratory School), fourth runner-up.

TAU President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson congratulated all the candidates for their outstanding performances, exuding confidence, and exemplary representation of their respective colleges. β€œThe pageant served not only as a showcase of beauty and creativity but also as a unifying tribute to the University’s thriving culture and pride,” Dr. Salunson said.

As Mister and Miss TAU 2025, Villanueva and Guides are set to carry the torch of the University, embodying TAU’s core values throughout their reign.
