𝐂𝐀𝐏𝐓𝐔𝐑𝐄𝐃 𝐈𝐍 𝐋𝐄𝐍𝐒 |To equip the participants with essential writing skills that enable them to share compelling stories while complying with publication standards, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) – Department of Extension and Training (DET), in partnership with the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) Field Office III’s Sustainable Livelihood Program, conducts a training on feature writing at the Farmers' Training Center on 6 August.

Speaker-trainers from TAU guide participants through the fundamentals of crafting feature stories, conducting effective interviews, and practicing ethical storytelling. These are followed by interactive workshops and critiquing sessions designed to strengthen communication and enhance collaboration among key actors in grassroots development efforts.

The enrollment process for the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) Graduate Programs runs from 11 to 16 August 2025 beginning at the Admission and Registration Services (ARS) office. Students will first submit documents to ARS for initial evaluation. If requirements are met, they will proceed to the Office of the Graduate Programs for further assessment. Once approved, students shall return to ARS to complete submission, then visit the Graduate Program Coordinator for course advising and encoding.

Next, students will go to the Accounting Office for fee assessment and pay at the Cashier and Treasury Office. Finally, they must collect and verify their Certificate of Registration (COR) from ARS, ensuring all details are correct before signing. All steps must be completed within the enrollment period to secure admission.

Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, President of Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), welcomes new and returning students to Academic Year 2025-2026.

In his message, Dr. Salunson reminds TAUians that their education is made possible by Filipino taxpayers, emphasizing their responsibility to make the most of this opportunity through diligent study and future service to the nation.

Joining Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunos in extending a warm welcome, the university's four Vice Presidents and six Deans greet all TAUians as they embark on the new academic year.

Today, both new and returning students will attend the flag ceremony, meet their professors, and take part in various orientation activities prepared by their respective departments and colleges.

Today, 11 August, we gleefully celebrate a meaningful day in the life of Hon. Virgin Mary A. Nicolas, Private Sector Representative and Member of Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) Board of Regents. 

Ms. Nicolas has been an active advocate of academe-industry partnership, creating better opportunities for TAU stakeholders. She has also pushed for more collaboration between TAU BOR and TAUian faculty, non-teaching staff, students, and alumni, ensuring participation in crucial decision-making. 

We sincerely wish her genuine happiness, good health and wellbeing, and boundless  prosperity today and for the many years to come.
