Reinforcing their commitment to helping graduates find employment opportunities, the Department of Labor and Employment โ€“ Regional Office III (DOLE-RO3) and the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) renewed their partnership through a memorandum of agreement signing at the TAU Office of the University President Conference Room on November 21, 2025.

During the signing ceremony, TAU was led by Dr. Silverio Ramon, DC. Salunson, University President, together with Dr. Arnold R. Lorenzo, Vice President for Finance and Administration (VPFA), and Dr. Sonny DC. Torres, Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs (VPASA). The ceremony was also attended by representatives from the Student Placement Office (SPO) and the Office of External Linkages and International Affairs (ELIA).

DOLE-RO3 was represented by its Regional Director, Ms. Geraldine M. Panlilio, alongside Mr. Jose Roberto L. Navata, Provincial Head of DOLE Tarlac, as well as its Senior Labor and Employment Officer, Mr. Jumel A. Vitao.

On behalf of the SPO Director, Dr. Benny S. Soliman, Ms. Czarina C. Aguilar, SPO Assistant Director, conveyed Dr. Solimanโ€™s message to DOLE-RO3, officially welcoming them to the University and expressing the commitment to a continued partnership in supporting student development and employment initiatives.

With firm support, Dr. Salunson expressed his enthusiasm as he looks forward to further strengthening the Universityโ€™s collaborative engagements with DOLE-RO3, expanding opportunities to advance the professional growth and career readiness of the Universityโ€™s students and graduates.

Moreover, Director Panlilio and Mr. Navata affirmed DOLE-RO3โ€™s commitment to providing the necessary support and assistance to TAU graduates, helping them secure better opportunities and succeed in their chosen career paths.

Also, Dr. Torres enunciated his gratitude to DOLE-RO3 and emphasized that their support ensures TAU graduates are equipped, confident, and prepared to excel in their professional journeys.

Following the signing ceremony, DOLE-RO3 representatives explored the Universityโ€™s Engineered Bamboo Project Facility, SMART Agriculture Center, Food Processing Center, and Rootcrops Research and Training Center (RRTC).ย
