In a move to deepen international academic and research partnerships, Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, together with Dr. Amy Lizbeth J. Rico, General Manager of the TAU-SMART Agriculture Center, led a site visit at the Taiwan Technical Mission (TTM) at Tarlac City, 9 September.

Under the framework of an existing Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between both parties, Dr. Salunson aims to conduct more activities for the benefit of TAU researchers, students, farmers, and its stakeholders.

Members of the Tarlac Bakers Community and local producers visit the Regional Rootcrops Research and Training Center (RRTC) at Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) on 8 September. They seek information on the availability of sweetpotato flour for an upcoming cooking and baking competition in Tarlac this November 2025.

The group plans to promote sweetpotato as a signature Tatak Tarlac ingredient to highlight the province's agricultural products. Their initiative aims to develop innovative baked goods and culinary specialty, showcasing the versatility of local crops and strengthening Tarlac's identity as a gastronomic destination.

The Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) - National Service Training Program (NSTP), teams up with the Philippine National Police (PNP) - Camiling during the lecture series on drug education and awareness at the Gilberto O. Teodoro Multipurpose Center and the TAU Covered Court on 6 September.

Doctor, Community Affairs and Development Police Non-Commissioned Officer of the Camiling Municipal Police Station, emphasizes the dangers of drug abuse and the legal consequences associated with it, followed by an orientation on earthquake preparedness by TAU University Disaster Risk Reduction Management (UDRRM) coordinator, Mr. Ronimo G. Ubaldo.

Ifugao State University (IFSU) warmly welcomed delegates from Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), led by Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, TAU President, on 3 September, for a benchmarking visit focused on imparting best practices and fostering collaboration. Aptly themed “Bridging Ideas,” the dialogue served as a platform for both institutions to exchange insights on leadership, academic excellence, and quality management systems, with a particular emphasis on the prestigious Philippine Quality Award (PQA).

The opening program, held at the Heritage Convention Hall of IFSU Lamut Campus, was graced by the leadership of both universities. IFSU President, Dr. Eva Marie Codamon-Dugyon, delivered a heartfelt message, thanking the IFSU-TAU partnership for its role in IFSU’s institutional development.
