The program focuses on arming students with the essential tools for their financial future. Caliboso from the College of Engineering and Technology (CET) of Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) are participating in the Virtual CommTECH Nusantara 2025: The Spirit of Indonesiaโ€™s Heroes, organized by the Institut Teknologi Sepuluh Nopember (ITS), Indonesia, from November 10 to 21, 2025.

This short-term international program will immerse Bermillo and Caliboso in Indonesiaโ€™s rich culture through presentations, group discussions, and interactive activities focused on the countryโ€™s national heroes.

Their two-week engagement aims to broaden their cultural awareness and global perspectives, providing them with meaningful learning experiences that they can share with their respective colleges and the TAU community.

Driven to represent Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) on the international stage, students earned awards at the Passage to ASEAN (P2A) Hybrid Mobility by Discipline (HMD): Language and Culture Program, themed โ€œPreserving ASEAN Cultural Heritage with AIโ€“Human Co-Creation,โ€ held online from 29 August to21 October 2025.

Thirteen (13) TAU students joined the virtual program. The Batirulians team, composed of Jhemalyn P. Villar, Arianna Foo Lee Naa, Kristine Joy C. Magno, Hanna Claire O. Cero, Karla Shane S. Marking the start of a four-day gathering anchored on the theme โ€œAdvancing Interdisciplinary Research for Sustainable and Inclusive Development,โ€ the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) led by the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS) formally opened the International Interdisciplinary Research and Development Conference in Social Science (IIRDCSS) on 25 November at the TAU Alumni and Student Center Amphitheater.ย 

Gracing the opening ceremony are key university officials led by Dr. Edmar N. Franquera, Vice President for Research, Extension, and Training (VPRET); Dr. Sonny DC. Torres, Vice President for Academic and Student Affairs (VPASA); and Ms. Yolanda F. Juan, Chief Administrative Officer for Administration (CAO-Admin), who collectively emphasized the significance of interdisciplinary collaboration in shaping sustainable solutions for todayโ€™s complex social issues. In their messages, the officials highlight TAUโ€™s commitment to fostering research-driven dialogues and strengthening partnerships that cut across sectors, disciplines, and borders.
