Under the theme “Local Heart, Global Journey,” the Department of Tourism Management of the College of Business and Management (CBM) kicks off its day of festivities on 19 March with a program in front of the Gilberto O. Teodoro Multipurpose Center. The morning begins with a mass dance, followed by a formal opening ceremony. As the “Festival of Dance” and the “Mr. & Ms. Tourism Ambassador” pageant take center stage, students showcase their talent and charisma in a celebration of cultural pride and skill.

The excitement then moves to the CBM New Building for the grand opening of Banchetto, marking the start of an afternoon filled with specialized competitions. Students demonstrate their industry readiness through tour guiding simulations, in-flight safety demonstrations, and banner judging. The day concludes with the much-anticipated grooming competition at the Banquet Hall, where participants refine their professional image to embody the world-class standards of the tourism and hospitality industry.
