The University President; Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson emphasized that the enhanced faculty promotion guidelines represent more than a set of requirements; they are a meaningful recognition of merit, dedication, and professional excellence. He underscored that the Circular provides a structured pathway that honors the hard work and accomplishments of TAU’s faculty members. It recognizes the countless hours spent in the classroom, the rigorous pursuit of research and innovation, and the commitment to extension and professional development. 

More importantly, it acknowledges the sacrifices and sleepless nights behind every academic achievement. Dr. Salunson highlighted that every contribution made by faculty members forms part of the University’s continuing journey toward excellence. He further emphasized that the promotion system should serve as an avenue to recognize genuine performance and meaningful contributions. 

Through this framework, faculty members are encouraged to continuously strengthen their competencies and pursue higher standards of academic and professional achievement. He noted that their dedication not only advances TAU but also contributes to the broader development of Philippine higher education. Ultimately, the enhanced guidelines affirm the University's commitment to building a faculty community whose excellence, integrity, and service are recognized, valued, and sustained
