The Department of Research and Development (DRD) brings harvest happiness to TAUians as it opens its Gulayan for free harvesting on 12 August. The activity allows members of the University community to personally harvest fresh produce while experiencing the value of growing and enjoying locally produced food.

Adding to the day’s harvest, the University also invites its guest, DoΓ±a Cresencia β€œDonya” Reyes Tesoro, Mayor of San Manuel, Tarlac, to join the activity following the signing of a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) with the TAU Department of Extension and Training (DET). Her visit highlights the continuing partnership between the University and the local government of San Manuel in advancing initiatives that support agricultural development and community engagement.

Through the initiative, the University continues to promote the value of agriculture while creating opportunities for TAUians and its partners to experience the joy of harvesting fresh produce
