Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) reinforces its institutional commitment to global sustainability and academic excellence through the official establishment of the University Sustainability Council (USC).

Formally constituted via Memorandum No. 342, s. 2026 signed by TAU President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, the USC serves as TAU’s central institutional body tasked with planning, implementing, documenting, reporting, monitoring, and evaluating all sustainability initiatives, ensuring full alignment with the UN Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and compliance with national and international standards.

To execute its mandate effectively, the Council is structured into five distinct operational arms: Oversight, Steering Committees, the Sustainability Coordination Network, Sustainability Clusters, and the Innovation Packaging and Development Team.

By systematically gathering, verifying, and packaging institutional data, the USC aims to enhance TAU's international rankings and global reputation. Through this unified framework, the University will strategically track its performance across prestigious global benchmarking systems.
