Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) President, Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson, delivers a stirring message at the Opening Ceremony of the International Interdisciplinary Research and Development Conference in Social Sciences (IIRDCSS) 2026 at the Crown Legacy Hotel, Baguio City, 7 April.

President Salunson extends his profound gratitude to the TAU - College of Arts and Sciences (CAS), the conference secretariat, and the faculty and staff volunteers, whom he recognizes as the "true architects" of the gathering. In his address, he urges participants to remember that inclusivity means making room for local wisdom alongside global frameworks, and resilience means adapting even when technology fails. Furthermore, he encourages delegates from TAU and 40 other institutions to collaborate without silos and build the inclusive, resilient, and sustainable futures their communities deserve.
