Representing Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), Dr. Jay-ar A. De Mayo, Director of Business and Auxiliary Services (BAS) office, attends the Awarding of Araboo PH at the Getha Town Center, 20 April, recognizing the establishment as the first restaurant in Tarlac and first Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) fastfood chain in the country to be Halal Certified.

Dr. De Mayo, alongside member organizations of the Philippine Chamber of Commerce and Industry - Small and Medium Enterprise Development Council (PCCI-SMEDC), participates in the event organized by the Ulama League of the Philippines. Their involvement highlights the growing importance of the Halal industry and strengthens collaboration among stakeholders to support inclusive and culturally responsive enterprise development.
