Reinforcing their shared commitment to providing accessible and quality education, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) and TAU Multipurpose Cooperative (MPC) formally ink a Memorandum of Agreement (MOA) that aims at providing financial aid to the dependents of its members at the Office of the University President (OUP) Conference Hall on 16 June.Β

Under the agreement, two (2) scholars who are dependents of bona fide MPC members for at least one year shall receive scholarship assistance from their first year in college until graduation. The scholarship program will provide financial assistance amounting to P6,000.00 every semester, provided that they maintain the required academic performance.

During the program, TAU President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson shares that the partnership also aims to expand the scholarship program in the future to accommodate more deserving students and further extend educational opportunities to members and their families.

During the program, Dr. Sonny DC. Torres, Vice President for Administration and Student Affairs (VPASA) and TAU MPC Board of Director (BOD), expresses his gratitude to the University administration led by Dr. Salunson, for its continued support of programs that uplift the welfare of students and the academic community.

Dr. Torres likewise acknowledges the efforts of the MPC management in initiating programs that prioritize education and student development. He emphasizes that the collaboration reflects the shared vision of both institutions in empowering learners through sustainable educational assistance.
