Reaffirming its steadfast commitment to quality and excellence, Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) President Dr. Silverio Ramon DC. Salunson participated in the 2nd Quality Assurance Summit and Conferment Ceremony spearheaded by the National Network of Quality Assurance Agencies (NNQAA), Inc. on March 5โ€“7, 2026, at The Heritage Hotel Manila. He was joined by Vice President for Planning and Quality Assurance Dr. Leonell P. Lijauco, demonstrating TAUโ€™s strong leadership presence in this significant national gathering that formally conferred Certificates of Accreditation to State Universities and Colleges (SUCs) and Local Colleges and Universities (LCUs) whose programs and institutions were certified from 2022 to 2025.

During the ceremony, TAU was conferred by the NNQAA, Inc., upon the recommendation of the Accrediting Agency of Chartered Colleges and Universities in the Philippines (AACCUP), Inc., with several program accreditations. The University received a Level IV Retained Status for the Bachelor of Secondary Education majors in Mathematics and Physical Science under the College of Education (CEd), and likewise retained Level IV Status for the Bachelor of Technology and Livelihood Education majors in Agriculture and Fishery, Home Economics, and Information and Communication Technology under the same college. These achievements also reflect the dedicated efforts of the CEd Dean, Dr. Claire Anne A. Olivares.

In addition, several other academic programs of the University were recognized for their sustained commitment to quality and academic excellence. The University earned Level IV Re-accredited Status for the Bachelor of Science in Psychology and the Bachelor of Arts in Economics under the College of Arts and Sciences (CAS); these recognitions are the result of the full support and effort of the entire CAS faculty and staff under the superintendence of CAS Dean, Dr. Sherwin S. Alar.

For the College of Agriculture and Forestry (CAF), with the supervision of CAF Dean, Dr. Sinamar E. Estudillo, the Bachelor of Science in Forestry Resource Management and the Bachelor of Animal Science earned a Level III Re-accredited Status.

Furthermore, the Master of Science in Biosystems Engineering and the Master of Science in Agricultural Engineering under the College of Engineering and Technology (CET), with the stewardship of the CET Dean, Dr. Ruben A. Parazo, were granted Level III Re-accredited Status. These recognitions further strengthen the Universityโ€™s expanding portfolio of accredited programs and reflect its steadfast pursuit of excellence in instruction, research, and professional training.

These recognitions reflect the collective dedication and hard work of the entire TAU community, guided by the leadership of President Salunson. Through sustained collaboration among administrators, faculty, staff, and stakeholders, the University continues to reinforce its quality assurance mechanisms and align its academic programs with national standards, upholding its mission to deliver excellence in instruction, research, extension, and governance in service to the nation.
