On this day, as hearts turn toward gratitude and celebration, we find it only fitting to honor you not merely as the Officer-in-Charge of the Department of Research and Development (DRD), but as one of the fathers of many of Tarlac Agricultural University’s (TAU) intellectual foundations. Just as Valentine’s Day reminds us of the power of connection, your leadership has masterfully bridged rigorous inquiry with meaningful application, fostering an environment where ideas do more than just bloom, they flourish.

Perhaps, your imprint remains most indelible from your time as the steward of the Office of Graduate Programs. In that role, and many others, you guided countless scholars toward their "true north." You have always understood that higher education and research are, at their core, a labor of love: a love for discovery, for mentorship, and for the patient cultivation of minds destined to one day surpass their teachers.

Today, as we celebrate both Valentine’s Day and the anniversary of your birth, we thank you for uniting rigor with care and administration with heart. May your day be filled with the same warmth and purpose you have so generously bestowed upon TAU.
