In response to the forecasted heat index of 42ยฐC, Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU) implements an adjustment to its academic operations, shifting all classes to an Asynchronous Mode of Delivery on May 6, 2026, to safeguard the health and well-being of its students and academic community.
Under the advisory, all scheduled classes for the day are to be conducted asynchronously, allowing students to accomplish learning tasks remotely without the need for physical attendance.ย
Meanwhile, university personnel are encouraged to remain within their respective offices, faculty rooms, or other well-ventilated areas on campus. All other previously scheduled activities shall proceed as planned, subject to existing safety measures.
The University reiterates its call for vigilance and personal responsibility, urging all members of the TAU community to observe necessary precautions against extreme heat and to prioritize safety at all times.
