𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐁𝐔𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐓𝐈𝐍 [𝐔𝐁 𝟏𝟑𝟎 -𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔] 𝐃𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐧𝐠 𝐂𝐨𝐣𝐮𝐚𝐧𝐠𝐜𝐨 𝐃𝐚𝐲

In recognition of a legacy that shaped Philippine society, Republic Act No. 11729 officially declares 10 June of every year a Special Nonworking Holiday in the province of Tarlac, known as "Danding Cojuangco Day." 

This annual commemoration marks the birth anniversary of the late Eduardo “Danding” Murphy Cojuangco Jr., a visionary leader whose contributions as a businessman, statesman, and philanthropist left an indelible mark not only on Tarlac but on the entire nation.

As Tarlaqueños pause from work today, let this day be more than a respite, but also a moment of gratitude and reflection on Ambassador Danding's enduring values of resilience, public service, and love for the common good. May his life inspire the next generation of leaders who dare to dream big and work hard for their communities.
