According to the PAGASA Agrometeorological and Upper Air Station at Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), the heat index hit 36ยฐC at 11:00 AM today, 14 April, and climbed to 37ยฐC by 1:00 PM. Currently falling under the "Extreme Caution" level, these readings point to an elevated risk of heat exhaustion and heat stress for individuals spending prolonged periods under the sun.

In light of these conditions, the University urges all TAUians to look after their well-being by watching for signs of heat stress and reducing physical activity. Staying well-hydrated, staying in shaded areas, and avoiding outdoor activities during the hottest hours of the day are strongly recommended.
