Behind every “Ma’am,” “Sir,” “Professor,” and every teacher we may have once feared, laughed with, or wondered about, is a story of dedication.

At Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU), our teachers do more than teach lessons. They challenge us to do better, remind us when we fall short, and push us beyond what we think we can achieve.

Sometimes, their words are firm. Their standards are high. Their reminders seem endless. But behind every correction is a lesson; behind every expectation is a belief that we can become better.

Because teaching is not simply about completing a syllabus or standing in front of a classroom. It is about shaping character, building discipline, nurturing dreams, and helping students discover a future they once thought was beyond their reach.

Years later, we may forget the lessons written on the board. But we remember the teacher who made us believe that we could do more, dream again, and become more—not only for ourselves, but for others.

To our teachers, thank you for being patient when we were difficult, firm when we needed direction, and believing in us even when we struggled to believe in ourselves.

You may not always see the impact of what you do. But somewhere, somehow, there is a student who has become better because you cared enough to teach.

And sometimes, that student becomes a teacher, too.
