𝐔𝐍𝐈𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐒𝐈𝐓𝐘 𝐁𝐔𝐋𝐋𝐄𝐓𝐈𝐍 [𝐔𝐁 𝟎𝟖𝟖 -𝟐𝟎𝟐𝟔] | 𝐀𝐫𝐚𝐰 𝐧𝐠 𝐊𝐚𝐠𝐢𝐭𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐚𝐧

As one community within the nation, the Tarlac Agricultural University (TAU)  takes part in the national commemoration of the Araw ng Kagitingan, held annually on 09 April 2026. The occasion is an opportunity for the TAU family to pay tribute to the brave hearts, nationalists, patriots, and martyrs whose courageous acts during the Second World War were instrumental in securing the freedom we now enjoy. Indeed, Araw ng Kagitingan serves as an enduring testament to their bravery and self-sacrifice in their defense of our homeland.

In solidarity with the occasion, the university commits itself to nurturing the patriotic values of nationalism, honesty, and service to others among the members of its community. While honoring our heroes, we also appeal to the young generation to exhibit the same courage and sense of duty as our heroes did, not only during wartime but even in the present context of challenges such as academic and communal work. In effect, this observance will reinforce the university’s mission to promote patriotism, making the ultimate sacrifice of our heroes a source of inspiration to us in nation-building.
